CLRS is a textile studio rooted in vibrant color and bold combinations. Each piece is designed to shift mood and transform light through color.
For over 25 years, We’ve traveled the world working directly with artisans whose skills and traditions inspire this work. These relationships have grown into lasting friendships and creative partnerships.
From our Philadelphia studio, we explore rich palettes and layered textiles to create pieces that feel both timeless and alive. Our signature sari curtains are light, airy, and luminous—designed to softly filter sunlight and bathe interiors in color.
Over the years, we’ve collaborated with homeowners, designers, and artists to reimagine what textiles can do within a space. Today, our fabrics are exclusively printed and dyed for CLRS, allowing us to create distinctive color stories you won’t find anywhere else.
We love creating spaces that feel alive and intentional—from living rooms and bedrooms to yoga studios, creative spaces, and ceremonial environments for gathering and performance.
CLRS lives comfortably across styles—modern, bohemian, eclectic, rustic, and beyond—anywhere there’s an appreciation for soulful, globally inspired design.

About Iris––
Creator of CLRS Studio since 2004, When she’s not traveling, Iris lives by the woods and the creek just outside Philadelphia, with her musician husband, Shawn, and their wildly creative Kiddos, Bell and Aya.
The CLRS studio is her newly renovated brick-and-boutique—a space to meet in person.
It’s where customers come to muse and mirror—working with Iris on their homes and projects, and discovering what feels truly irresistible.

For over 25 years, CLRS has been built on meaningful relationships with artisans around the world. What began as creative collaboration has grown into deep friendships grounded in trust, shared values, and a love for craft. We believe in slow fashion—honoring time, process, and the hands behind every piece.
One-of-a-Kind, Sometimes
On some project we work with recycled vintage silk saris, thoughtfully upcycling them into unique home textiles. No two pieces are ever the same. Each carries its own history, reimagined into something new—full of color, texture, and story.
Designed In-House
Alongside these, we create original fabrics developed exclusively for CLRS. Designed in our studio, these textiles are printed and dyed in our signature color palettes—bringing a distinct point of view to pieces like our signature curtains. Together, these collections reflect our full range: honoring the past while creating something entirely our own
Low-Impact Packaging
We ship using 100% recycled ivory poly mailers made from recycled and post-consumer materials. These mailers are lightweight, durable, and space-efficient—reducing waste, emissions, and the need for replacements.
Thoughtful Transportation
100% of our inventory is transported by cargo ship to minimize our carbon footprint. We embrace a slower timeline, planning ahead so we can move goods more responsibly.
